IT has been a week to forget for Scarva Rangers Reserves.

A 4-0 midweek defeat to league leaders Tullygally Reserves was followed by another decisive defeat, this time at the hands of Moneyslane Reserves, on Saturday at Scarva Park.

The hosts made a disastrous start to the game, conceding an early goal from the penalty spot, before Moneyslane forged 2-0 ahead with an exceptional strike.

Scarva were unfortunate not to narrow the deficit before the half time whistle when a shot struck the Moneyslane woodwork.

The visitors extended their lead early in the second half but a Gary Dodds strike sparked a mini Scarva revival, abruptly ended when Moneyslane added a fourth goal.
