It was a day for the Reserve team to forget. A close range strike from Gary Dodds gave Scarva a first half lead and when Danny Cullen swept the ball into the Craigavon City Reserves net straight from a corner to put his side 2-0 ahead the hosts seemed on course for their fourth victory in a row.

But they were lifeless after the interval and Craigavon City Reserves took full advantage, scoring three times to finish 3-2 victors.

A game of two very contrasting halves was at least partly explained by a gusting wind and it was no coincidence that both sides scored direct from a corner when they had it at their backs.
