The first team suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Mid Ulster Division Two league leaders Dungannon Tigers, with Mark Larmour scoring Scarva’s goal.
The locals conceded an early goal but responded well and were proving more than a handful for their high flying hosts during an even first half. The destiny of the game was shaped in the dying minutes of the opening 45 minutes when the hosts scored twice to make it 3-1.
Scarva’s hopes of a comeback were further dented when they conceded a fourth goal early in the second half and a series of injuries meant they ended the game with ten men.
